We're Andy and Charlotte, a husband-and-wife team who turned our shared love for golf into this exciting venture. As golfers ourselves, we've dealt with the annoyances of rental clubs that just don't match what you're used to at home, or the stress of hauling your own gear everywhere. That's why we created Up’n’Down Golf—to make getting out on the course easier and more enjoyable for everyone.

Our story kicked off in 2025 after we lost a dear friend way too soon. He was always pushing us to chase our dreams and live life to the fullest, and his passing gave us the nudge we needed. We packed up from the UK, headed to sunny Algarve, and built this business from scratch. The name "Up’n’Down Golf" is a fun shout-out to that classic golf moment—chipping up from trouble and sinking the putt to save par. It reminds us that golf, like life, has its ups and downs, but with the right support, you can always bounce back!

We're all about doing things differently. Right now, we're live with online rentals and sales, delivering straight to you anywhere in the Algarve—whether it's your hotel, a course, or home. For shorter rentals, collection might be available if you ask, though we don't have a fixed spot just yet. We're friendly and always up for a chat to create custom solutions that fit your trip perfectly. Plus, we're passionate about sustainability—if you've got old clubs gathering dust, we'll buy them back or recycle them (Algarve only for now, upon request) to keep things out of landfills. Soon, we'll launch a dedicated page to make that even simpler.
